How to use Blogger's Gadgets to make the site good looking.

Gadgets of Blogger.

Gadgets are not only for fancy looks of your website but these can be also use for providing important information. Google blogger offers lots of free gadgets which a blogger can use in his blog post. To use/add blogger Gadgets in your layout you must know how to use them or what is the purpose of that particular gadget. All gadgets have a specific reason and each gadgets perform in different way.

Before going to actual matter, see that your blog contain these requirements-
1- Enough Number of Posts.
Some gadgets in the blogger works only if your blog have enough number of posts.

2- Access to Accounts.
There are various places where you should create account. Like Google Webmaster, Google Analytics, Google AdWord, Google Adsense etc.

lets start with the Gadgets...

1- AdSense.

AdSense gadget works only if you have AdSense Account approval. Once you get AdSense approval you can add this gadget in your layout. This gadget helps to earn money by showing ads in your article/blog posts.
You can choose or set AdSense ads as you want in in blogs.


If you want to show the ads in between the post then follow this-

Go to >> Layout.
In Main bar you will see Blog Post box >> click edit.
A new page will open >> Scroll down and click 'Show ads between posts'.
Click >> SAVE

2- Featured Post.

Google introduced a new tool for their bloggers which is "Featured post" gadget which shows important articles or most popular/relevant articles on your front page of website. In Blogger we can select the post that we want to show as featured post or directly a new published article/post will be shown as Featured Post.

3-Blog Search.

Having lots of post/articles on one website creates problem in finding the needed one. In such situation we or reader can use blogger search gadget. It is one of the important gadget that should be there in navigation bar.

4-HTML/Java Script.

It is one of the most commonly used gadget in blogger as well as in WordPress. This HTML/Java Script gadget allows to add third party code in our website. You can use this for affiliate marketing or for adding the third party fancy gadgets in your blogger.

5-Profile.

Profile gadget shows information about yourself to your visitors. You can enter your achievements, interests to attract the viewers. Adding a profile gadget will help viewers to know about you

6-Blog Archive.

This gadget helps the viewers to navigate easily and to find the post, as your post will be shown in an order.

7-Page Header.

Page header displays the Blog Title and Description. Most of the time Page header is automatically added to the template but, in case if it not added before you can add this.

8-Followers.

It displays number people/users who follows your blog.
Note-  This followers are not Google+ followers.

9-Image.

This tool allows you to add image form you computer or from the web. You can add your own image so that viewers should know who the author is.

10-Labels.

When you add labels while or after writing post, the same labels appear in this tool. When you add one particular label in more than one post that time the label will also show 2 number that means there are two post under one label only.

11-Pages.

You have to create pages like About me, Contact Us, Privacy Policy, etc. This pages will be shown in your blog site through this tool.

12-Link list.

In this tool you can add links of different posts, books, websites, YouTube channel etc. You just have to click on Link List gadget and give title to it and add links and title of the posts that you are adding.

13-Text.

Through this tool you can add a message to your viewers. You can also provide contact info. through this tool in your blog.

14-Popular Posts.

Popular Post gadget displays the list of most popular/most viewed post in you blogger. You can edit the Time period.

15-Blog's Stats.

This gadget shows the number of page you got on your entire blog posts. There are various styles available in this tool only, choose which suit your site theme well.

16-Blog List

A Blog List is significantly more than only a rundown of connections: it's a live perspective of the web journals that matter to you. By default, your Blog List will show the most recently updated blogs first.

17-Follow By E-Mail.

This tools helps viewers to get connected to your blogs. When any viewer follow you through email he will be notified by email when you publish a new post.

18-Feed.

A feed (often called as RSS Feed) is a stream of posts or comments that is updated when new content is published.

19-Logo.

It is a Blogger logo that you can display in your blogger site. Show your blogger pride by adding logo to your page.

20-Subscription Links.

Through this tool let your readers easily subscribe to your blog with popular feed readers.

This shows the details of the template owners, designers.

29-Report Abuse.

Through this gadget your viewers can report if the content is inappropriate.

30-Video Bar.

This tool display a YouTube Video related to your content and the user can see the video without leaving the current page.
